18 Mths - 3 Yrs

Home - 18 Mths - 3 Yrs
Small Group Sessions with Parents for 18 months to 3 years
Duration – 1 hour (broken into two sections – free exploration time and activity time)
Small Group Setting – Maximum of 5 children (allows more individual attention and builds confidence)
Parents stay and are actively involved in the program. Parents are strongly encouraged to give their undivided attention to their children during this 1 hour.
Free Exploration - Children are presented with different ‘jobs’ and are encouraged to work with them with their parent/guardian. Children are encouraged to work with one ‘job’ at a time and to pack away each ‘job’ where it belongs.
Activity Time – Children are invited to join in for a group activity that revolves around the concept that is being explored (for e.g., literacy sessions – a letter sound, for numeracy sessions – different mathematical concepts such as counting forwards, backwards, lengths, shapes, etc.) Art, drama, stories etc will be used as part of the activity. Emotional Intelligence will also be linked as part of the activity.
